Orcon tell me they have upgraded my plan to max/max. I have just done a
speed test and the results are pretty much the same as they were before
the upgrade - about 3 up and .45 down.

So where is the change?

You need to reboot your router for the change to take effect.
Also have a look on your router to see what the connection stats are.

Cheers

Just got an email from them as well. Rebooted router . Same old
speed as before 2.5 down (FS plan) /128 K up (128K) So much
for blistering fast ADSL. Maybe it's time Telecom stopped spending
money in Oz and now Singapore and invested a bit here..

I had a stuff up with my connection (ISP accidentally disconnected me) on
Wed last week and it finally got up and going again Saturday night.
Noticed the router now connects at full speeds but...
I am on a 2Mb/s plan and it's getting 160kbps on Craig's speedtest now.

I got 19.8kbps on Telecom's speedtest :)
