OpenSwan with M1122?

Hi,

I've got two places with Orcon ADSL connections that I run Linux firewalls
behind the DSL Routers:

Network-Linux Box-M1122 DSL Router-Internet-Some DSE DSL Router-Linux
Box-Network

I've installed OpenSwan on both machines to do get an IPSec VPN running and
configured it (hopefully correct). However, I can't get the connection up.

Is there anyone in a similar situation on this list?

Is there any particular pinholing that needs to be done?

At the risk of stating the obvious,

Have you pinholed IPSec through the router at the receiving end of the
VPN?

Hi,

I can't help you specifically but are you using the M1122 as a router or the Linux box? If you are using the M1122 why don't you set up the Linux box as the router, connecting to the M1122 via PPtP to the M1122 which is set up to work in tunnelled-PPPoA. This would seem like a better configuration to me...
