To anyone else that's using Andrew Connell's traffic checker... is
it supposed to prompt for my username and password every time it starts
up ? I've just reinstalled my OS and it asks for those details every
time it starts - but since I only ran it a couple of times prior to the
reinstall, I can't remember if that was normal behaviour or not.

It only prompts me if I have entered an incorrect username or PW.

No....and not a problem ever have had....I have several installs of it
running on several a/cs at the same time 24/7, updating at varying intervals
from 2 to 5 hrs.
Try uninstalling, deleting the files in the folder, leaving the log
file...reinstall, enter user name, PW, clk a/c type

Have a Nice Day

I have had that problem on certain computers and have got around it by doing
the following.

Once you have entered the login and password instead of minimizing it to SYS
tray close the program and the next time you open it for some reason it
remembers the Login and password.

There was an issue with TUC that meant it didnt save the login/password
for certain people under certain conditions (it always worked for me
though, the worst kind of bug to find!).. anyway I fixed it and gave the
fixed version to a couple of people to test, but it seems I never
uploaded the fixed version to the server. Oops... I'll do that now.
I'll also upload a separate version that enables XP theme support (ie
not old style controls like the standard version), it's a bit bigger &
you never really have to see the program once it's running, but a few
people asked about it so -- their wish is my command. There's a link to
it on the TUC page which is http://4g.virtual.net.nz/tuc/

Anyway it's good to see people are still using it + it's still working!
I switched to a flat rate plan a while ago now and haven't looked at it
since.
