A quick note to advise that if you are having problems getting a DSE branded ADSL product up and running, we are here to help. Just make sure your Telco (probably Telecom) have enabled the ADSL service and your ISP (Xtra, Ihug, Slingshot, Etc) has created an account. Our support desk is open during normal business hours and can be contacted on (09) 414 2836, buy email at ***@dse.co.nz or you can call into your nearest Dick Smith Electronics store.
Please also be aware that at time of writing, we are experiencing an alarming increase of Xtra customers who have been incorrectly advised that their DSE ADSL product is the cause of their connection problems. In almost all instances, the problems have bean very easy to rectify - incorrect username & password format being the most common. We would like to point out that all DSE branded ADSL product has been tested and complies with the specifications and safety standards issued by Telecom Access Standards for Telecoms nationwide ADSL service.
So if its DSE branded ADSL and your having problems getting your hardware to work once the service is enabled, we will do our best to get you up and running.
Seasons greetings to all.
