I have an older Xtra "JetStream Plus" plan which has had the
grandfathered 192k upstream option thru the last couple of changes. What
I have now is basically the "Adventure" plan, but with 192k up rather
than 128k.
I have been corresponding with the Xtra Broadband Helpdesk to ensure
that my 192k is preserved thru their latest plan change and have now
established that it is not going to be, i.e.
>I do apologise that I did not explain this further in my previous
email.
>When you changed plans last time, the 192kbps upload was a service we
>could provide. With the Introduction of the new plans in April 2006,
>the upload speed of 192kpbs is being removed completely so when we
>change over your plan ( this happens automatically) we are not
>physically able to keep the upload speed of 192k.
Great.....
