I have a Speedtouch 510v4 at home (same as the
530 but only ethernet instead of ethernet/usb combo) and I
can't praise it enough. It has simply never given any
problems.
I had a speedtouch 510v4 for a while and was using it with the530 but only ethernet instead of ethernet/usb combo) and I
can't praise it enough. It has simply never given any
problems.
TelstraClear PPPoE service.
Complaints:
* To set up a PPTP server you need to config the modem using the
Telnet interface as you cannot do it via the web interface (only TCP/UDP
protocol options, no GRE)
* At random intervals all the NAT mappings would disappear from the
modem and I would have to restore a previous configuration file to get
them back
The settings loss may be something to do with opening pptp ports
manually. I had the most up-to-date firmware. For this reason alone it
is off my "recommended" list.
