Anyone experiencing a significant slow down on International connections
over the past few days.
WorldNet state:
"That GGI admit there are a congestion issue with their international
connection."

I using Jetstream Surf and maintaining Term Serv connections to servers
in Australia has beocme near impossible, as well as some websites.

I'm also having the same issues - my ping isn't increasing at all to
international sites but now and then my connections to international
sites completely die for a while and then a few minutes later things
work again.

While my connections are "dead" I can still ping the hosts, just can't
connect to them at all.

I'm noticing exactly the same thing on my Jetstream Surf connection at home
- traceroutes and pings seem fine, but international sites are
intermitantly slow and/or timing out, then ok again a few minutes later.

In fact performance in the evenings has been pretty poor for some weeks
now...with 140ms ping times to national sites commonplace in the evening :(

Regards,
Simon

Now that you all mention this, I think I might be in the "me too" camp. International sites have seemed to be slow loading. I've noticed this for a few days but didn't really pay much attention since I has thought it was due to other downloads. But actually, it seems to be happening regardless of other download.

Ping times when I've checked have seem okay tho. On JS:S as well

That's probably a good description of what Im getting as well.
Trying to upload via HTTP images etc to websites just goes no where.
Browsing is slow most of the time, but intermitently its fast again.
Via a Term Serv connection to my server in Auck. the same sites are
blindgly fast .. so its not the remote site but more specific to my ADSL
connection.
