The web site of DSE mentions that USRobotics 9105 has half-bridge mode.
I have not been able to find it yet.
Is the information of DSE right ?

On a USR I would suggest something called PPP Extension's. This is
similar to Speedtouch DHCP spoofing. You will need to get the latest
firmware for this to work properly and has limited implementation with
some platforms. I have had issue's with Windows 2000 / 2003 servers and
PIX firewall devices. The issue is caused by the DHCP spoof having a
lease on the IP of only 30 seconds. I have this nicely working though
with XP desktop's and Debian firewall box's.

Simple Diagram:
________ ________________________
______________________________________
|Internet| ----> |Speedtouch / External IP| ----IP Extension-->
|External IP Spoofed to internal device|

Setup step's:
Setup USR with ISP username and password.
Enable PPP Extensions
Enable DHCP on the NIC you are plugging the USR into

Cheers
Simon
