After running with my router connected to a terminal session I noticed
that it dumped into DEBUG mode several times with errors about Auto DNS
Lookup/proxy. I have since disabled the DNS Proxy function on the
router and set DNS servers manually and have had no further problems
with crashes. I still don't know what change has caused this crash to
occur.

Subject: Dlink DSL504
I have been having problems with my Gen-I Dlink DSL504 freezing in the
last two weeks - i.e. no pings to the router etc and no internet. Only
fix was power off reboot. It was running the "R221b13" firmware for over
a year without issue but I have now downgraded to the "R202b2t8nz"
firmware to see if uptime improves. Has anyone else been having
problems with these models in the last few weeks - could be related to
changes at the exchange (of course it could just be my unit dying... It
is getting old I guess :)
