ADSL down for anyone else ?

I've had no internet since at least 4pm this afternoon.. ISP is Orcon,
but it's jetstream plus, so the traffic is carried by telecom.. I can't
ping anything.. DSL is up, IP interface is up, but nothing pings.

I've tried reporting the problem to Orcon, but gave up after waiting for
far too long on the phone. I'll email them though just in case they
actually check there.

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems, so I can get an idea
of what the scope may be.

(and I'm reduced to dialup while things are down <sob> <sob> <sob>)

Always the way isn't it.. as soon as you inform someone else (in this case, the list members) that there's a problem, it mysteriously dries up and goes off to annoy someone else.

Suffice to say that I physically powered the m1122 off and on, and when it came back up, things were routing again.

This is very odd, because I'ld already done 'reset dsl' at the commandline, and it had negotiated all the way to a valid PPP session without error.

Uptime on the m1122 was probably in the range of a year prior to this reboot.
