I am new to this forum and this has probably been covered somewhere in
detail but I cannot find ref.
Mac OSX 10.3 running over ethernet with 2 x XP boxes, borrowed &
replaced router & was OK so it appears to be the M1122

have you checked to see that the M1122 isn't using the same IP as one
of your boxes? this can be a possible cause to your grief.

Hi Ian,

sorry for the late reply... i don't know what might be wrong. perhaps
someone else on the list can provide an answer for you. i use a
MW1122 (which is pretty much the same as the M1122), and have never
had a problem with it. have you looked its settings lately? perhaps
the factory reset has done something to it.
router sets dynamic ip addresses for attached boxes. This has been
on-going for past year but didnt pick up on it. have had router
serviced year ago so was wondering if it was reset at factory. all a
bit vague i'm afraid. my sons a gamer who d/l mods and thats how we
picked it up, he finally got sick of the disconnect/reconnect and told
me. averages 12 over 24 hr period, last was about 1 hour ago after 1
hr (after a router hard reset) and sometimes up to 4 hrs before doin
its thing
