UBS initial version release

Well we are now in October. Anyone heard from their ISPs about a
timeframe for the initial release of UBS?

Maxnet have UBS advertised on their website for release on 10 Nov (2004
even!).

I know Orcon are starting to move its customers onto (I)UBS. For customers
already with Orcon who wish to move they have to fill in
http://www.orcon.net.nz/shortcut/getbitstream But as they have a large
number of customers to move over get in quick to move over.

Today I filled in the form at:

http://www.orcon.net.nz/products/jetstream/getbitstream/

It notes that due to demand it could take 7 - 30 days to make the
change, so I'll wait and see what happens...

I was told by orcon staff that it would be an automatic upgrade from
jetstart but have registered using the above link to make sure.

replied with the sign up link. So I signed up..
